Tips On Optimizing Lighting on Art/Pictures:

Measure the width of your art, including the frame, before purchasing a picture light. Ideally, the light should be at least half the width of the frame. For example, if your frame is 24 inches wide, choose a picture light that is close to 14 inches wide. For larger pictures over 30 inches, select a light that is 2/3 or more of the frame’s width.If you have a taller artwork, use the adjustable are to extend further from the wall to ensure even light distribution across the entire piece.Before Installation, make sure you are placing the light directly above the center of the artwork at eye level. Adjust the light so that it evenly spreads to both the top and bottom.To avoid glare or long shadows, adjust the angle of the light. A 30-degree angle from the surface is a good rule of thumb.
