How to calculate the total wattage required in your project?

Power Supply should not be used to its full capacity, better 20% higher than led strip lights’ wattageLED Strip Wattage= LED strip Length x wattage/ft,for example: 16.4ft LED light strip wattage is 16.4*5.5W/ft=90WPower Supply Wattage: 90W*(1+20%)=108W, so at least choose a 24V 4A power supply, 24V 5A will be better to drive a 16.4ft long led light strip.

Troubleshooting

LED light strip does not light

Make sure to use the 24V power adapter;

Confirm you have maintained correct polarity (+ to + and – to –);

Check all tape light connections and any switch or dimmer connections from the power supply to the LED strip light.

Lights very dim or flash

Your power supply is not adequate for the length of the LED tape light you are powering. Install a higher wattage power supply.

What is the max length I can put in a row?

For 24V LED strip, the max length can be 32.8ft, if too long, it will be bright at start and dimmer at end due to voltage drop; we suggest connect them in parallel rather than series.
