Q1: Can I use this light kit for my ceiling fan or flush mount ceiling light ?

Yes, AUPRUN 4.92 inch led retrofit light kit fits most types of ceiling fan and flush mount ceiling light.(depending on your fan light inner structure) You just need to remove the old bulb and bulb socket, then directly connect the wire of this light replacement to the wire of ceiling fan AC 120V 50/60Hz with the connector included and it’s done! (no need to distinguish between Firewire and Neutral wire). It’s really a universal solution for you to retrofit the light as long as you have basic wiring skills and can do the easy wiring. Please make sure that your light base plate chasis diameter is BIGGER than 5.4inch

Q2: What if I previously use bulb?(E11,E26,E27…)

[Step1. Check the Size] : Actually our led light retrofit kit is a premium substitute of bulb developped in recent years. Firstly, you need to make sure that your light base chasis have enough room for our product to be attached on. Recommended light base outer diameter≥ 5.4 inch.

[Step2. Check the Wiring] : Secondly, since our led light retrofit replacement is directly connected to 120V, you should remove the old bulb socket or ballast to expose the wire of your fan. Then you could easily splice the wire on this replacement light into the wiring of the ceiling fan to finish the wiring with connector included in package.

Q3: Can I use this retrofit kit for my ceiling fan light with metal chasis?

Yes, this product is perfectly designed for metal chasis thanks to Easy Magnetic Installation. If the chasis or plate is not made of iron, we recommend Screw Installation
